Letters to the Editor Use your rights: Write us a letter. Letters should be under 200 words, typed, and signed. Letters must include the author's name, phone number, and the last five digits of the social security number, all of which will be withheld. Name withheld upon request. Letters should be edited for profanity and vulgarity, Associationed Press Style, grammar, libel, and space. The content will remain that of the author: Send letters either to the Island Waves physical address or to islandwaves@tamucc.edu.
